This notice explains what happens to your details when you sign up for PATCHWRK show announcements. Short version: we use them to tell you where we're playing, and nothing else.
That's everything. We don't collect anything else, and we don't buy or combine your details with data from anywhere else.
Your consent — Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. You gave it by ticking the box on the signup form and confirming via the email we sent you. You can withdraw it at any time (see below), and withdrawing it does not affect anything we sent you before that.
We use these service providers, who process your details only on our instructions:
Brevo is in France, inside the EU. Netlify is in the United States, so hosting involves a transfer of data outside the EU/EEA — this is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, as set out in Netlify's data processing agreement.
We never sell your details or pass them to anyone else.
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If you haven't opened any of our emails for 24 months, we'll delete you from the list anyway. We keep the record of your consent for as long as you're on the list, plus a short period afterwards, in case we need to show that you opted in.
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from third parties — the fonts are served from this site itself. There is no tracking here and nothing to consent to. The social icons are ordinary links: nothing is sent to those platforms unless you click through.
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
Email jsywn@hotmail.com and we'll deal with it within a month. It's free.
If you think we've handled your details badly, you can complain to a data protection authority. Ours is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit (datenschutz-berlin.de). You can also complain to the authority where you live or work.
If we change this notice we'll update the date at the top.
